To create a thriving, self-sufficient community where all individuals and families, particularly those in low-income households, have access to the resources and opportunities they need to live healthier, more prosperous lives.
The mission of Improving Quality of Life (IQOL) is to connect El Paso County Housing Authority (EPCHA) housing clients and other low-income residents with essential resources and services that enhance their quality of life. We are committed to providing access to programs and products in areas such as employment, childcare, education, financial literacy, homeownership, healthcare, and more. Through these efforts, IQOL empowers individuals and families to achieve greater stability and long-term success.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and fund our mission.
EPCHA wants to ensure that families living in subsidized households receive the educational and career support they need to help break the cycle of poverty. Hosted in partnership with the Improving Quality of Life nonprofit, the Family Services Program offers comprehensive programs that enable HUD-assisted families to increase their self-sufficiency through education, and job training to reduce their dependency on public assistance and rental subsidies.
PARTNERSHIPS
Services to participants are provided by a variety of public and private organizations in the community through a partnership with the El Paso County Housing Authority and the Improving Quality of Life 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
